WHAT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SHOULD DO IN CASE OF FIRE

Don’t panic – escape may depend on clear thinking.
Get out of the house following the planned escape routes, if possible. Do not stop to collect valuables, dress, or find animals.
Open doors carefully only after feeling them to see of they are hot. If they are, do not openfollow an alternative escape route.
Keep close to the floorsmoke and hot gases rise. Breathe through a cloth (wet, if possible) and take short, shallow breaths.
Keep doors and windows closed unless it is necessary to open them for escape.
Meet at your preestablished meeting place after leaving your house.
Call the fire department as soon as possible from outside the house. Give your address and name.
Never reenter a burning building.
